1- Go to Facebook settings.

2-Choose security.

3-Choose login notification.

4- Put a tick on email choice or text message or both to guaranty getting notifications.

5-Click (save change), then a page will appear asking you to write your password to confirm the changes.

6-Write your password then click (submit).

Third Step: use your phone number to secure your account:

Using phone number provides a good chance to back up your account in the case of hacking. In addition, it reduces the chances of hackers to hack your account because you are the only one who have the code number which is usually sent to your phone in a text message.

To learn how to add your phone number, follow these steps:

1- Click (add phone number).

2- A window will appear and require to write your password. Type it, then click (Submit).

3- A new window will appear to type your phone number. Choose your country from the list of countries’ names, set the kind of network you are subscribed to, then, click (Next).

4- Then a number will be shown, you have to send a message to this number containing the letter (F) only. Wait to receive a message that carries the security code, write it in the space, and then click (Next). At that point, you will have finished securing your account through your phone number.

Fourth Step: two ways to login:

This point is considered an important point in keeping your account secure. To apply this kind of security, Follow the following steps:

1-Log in to your account, then go immediately to settings.

2- Choose security setting. Click (Edit) which can be found next to login confirmation.

3-Activate the request of security code for logging from unknown devices.

4- Click (Save changes).

5- Logout form your account and try to login again.

Fifth Step: recognized devices:

When you login to your account form a new browser or device, it will require you to confirm logging as already explained. If this new device was yours, then activate this feature to not be annoyed about login confirming messages. It will require the name of the device that you used to log in for the first time.
